Affiliate Disclosure

Dave and the Great Outdoors participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com and related sites.

What that means

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, I may earn a small commission. It does not cost you anything extra.

Amazon Associates tracking uses the store ID / tag daveandthegre-20.

How I pick products

I recommend backpacker-friendly gear, backpacking food, and trail recipes I’d actually use. Opinions are my own. A commission never changes whether something is worth packing — only whether a link can help keep this site going.

Other relationships

From time to time I may also receive free products, discounts, or other consideration for review. When that happens, I’ll say so clearly in the post.

Questions

If something about a link or recommendation isn’t clear, ask — transparency matters more than a click.
