Tier: mid-to-premium. Better for groups and basecamps than for solo hikers.
The Nomad 20 is the biggest panel in this category that still makes sense for backpacking. It's a good fit when a group shares one panel, or you set up camp for a few days somewhere sunny.

Trade-offs
At over two pounds, it's heavy for one person. Split between two or three hikers, it's easier to justify. The 8 mm port matters only if you also carry a compatible Goal Zero power station. Most backpackers won't.
Lighter alternatives
The BigBlue 28W has a higher rating at a lighter listed weight, though it has no 8 mm port. The Nomad 10 is about half the weight.
