Tier: mid. A compact panel for topping up small devices.
The Nomad 10 is a sensible size for backpacking. It's light enough to hang on a pack and big enough to charge a phone or small power bank slowly in good sun.
Goal Zero's specs

- USB output: 5 V, up to 1.5 A (7.5 W max)

- Folded: 9.5 x 7.2 x 1.25 in. Unfolded: 9.5 x 14.5 x 0.75 in.

Who it suits
It's for hikers who want some solar input on longer trips without carrying a 28 W panel. It suits basecamp days, lunch breaks in an open meadow, or desert routes with lots of sun.
Watch out for
With only 10 W in strong sun, real USB output will often be a fraction of the 7.5 W maximum. Treat it as a slow trickle, not a fast charger. If you need more power per hour of sun, the BigBlue 28W or the Nomad 20 moves more energy. The tiny Nomad 5 saves weight.
